Step 1 - An adviser will meet with you at either our welcoming office or come visit you at your home. In this first appointment, the advisers main objective is to get to know you. All of our advice is tailored to your needs, there is no ‘one size fits all’. 
(Generally speaking) In this first appointment the adviser will take: 

• your basic details

• existing policy information (if applicable), 

• but equally as important our adviser will want to get to know what is important to you, your priorities/goals, and which market risks you do (or don’t) want to take.

 

 

Step 2 - Following this appointment, where applicable we will write to your existing providers to get a full breakdown of your existing fund(s). Amongst many other things, your adviser will look at how your existing funds have performed, which market risks your existing funds are open too/protected against, and how these compare with your attitude to risk and goals that you set with your adviser. Your adviser will then compile all their research and recommendations into a report. 

 

 

Step 3 - In your next appointment with your adviser, they will go through their recommendations, leaving you best positioned to make your decision. 

 

If you are happy with your adviser and their recommendations, your adviser will then proceed on your behalf and complete all of the necessary documentation for you. Your adviser will then liaise with your policy provider on your behalf, ensuring a smooth process is completed to the highest standards. (Charges: please note, if you proceed with the recommendations charges may apply. Your adviser will discuss this and will be clear before you make your decision)

 

 

Step 4 - We don’t just make your recommendations and wish you the best for the future. At Forte, we will guide you every step of the way from early family protection, into retirement with your pensions and investments. We appreciate that what is suitable for you now may not be fitting in the future, so as part of our service to you is that we will have regular reviews to make sure that your tailored advice remains correct, and if not, will continue to guide you through this ever-changing world, and through your ever changing world.
